First Day Activity: Blog Creation and First Post, Wikipedia Account Creation

In class today you'll create your own blog and respond to the prompts below as a kind of introduction to yourself.in which you do the following: 

• Introduce yourself (your major, hometown, anything about yourself you’d like to share)
• Discuss briefly your experience in an earlier composition course such as ENG 151. What was most rewarding? Least? What could have made the class more effective, interesting, or challenging?
• React to my course design (you might review the syllabus to do this). How does it differ your past experience with composition courses or any course. 
• End by discussing your hopes and apprehensions from the course. What do you want to gain from 308J? What are you worried about?

You can choose to save these and continue working on them through the weekend,  but they should be finished before Monday. Posts should be around 300 words. 

To create your  blog. Sign up and follow the directions at blogger.com. Feel free to customize the blog any way that you choose. You may name it something which references the class or choose anything you like. Please e-mail me (mv115510) a link to your blog so I can list everyone on the main blog.
