You first reading assignment, "Wikipedia Is Good For You?," can be found online here. You should also look over the "Five Pillars" page on Wikipedia. You may choose to print these out but aren't required to. For the response, tell us a little bit about your opinions/thoughts on Wikipedia before and after the reading. How have these readings changed how you though about this resource? Next, pay close attention to Purdy's sections on reviewing, conversing, revising, and sharing. What can we learn about academic writing/research-based writing from the processes that happen on Wikipedia?
